Many of us condemn the act. The very fact that a man (regardless what kind of a man he is) had hit a woman. In this case a teenage boy hit a teenage girl.
A facebook page - dedicated solely to Afez has been created to condemn him - Condemn Afez Anuar.
Fauzi Rassull has to create an entry in his blog not to associate Afez's action with Voguelicious.
However, i would like to bring all of you to a different perspective.
I am not siding with anyone. However much i have learn from the facebook page - everyone condemns him.
What i am interested in is these details:
1. Who is the one recording?
2. Why didnt she helped?
3. When the lift door open, WHY did the group of boys outside didnt stop him? (It is obvious they are there as they know what's happening)
4. Who uploaded the recording?
5. Why was it uploaded?
This remains unanswered till today.
It is true Afez hit the girl but those who were with him at the same time, recording, agreeing with him should also be punished. Why? Because they didnt try to talk to him out of it - that's why.
The one who records should also be punished - why? Where is your human decency? have you lost your mind? Where is your iman?
Humans as we are, we only how to talk. How many of you dare to whack him back in public? I am sure many would volunteer. Tell me, can you confidently tell me how many of you would actually talk to him..tell him that he should not have done this..hug him.. tell him to change.. and tell him Allah SWT love us all and He wants him to change..Tell me how many of you would do that? I bet the answer is none!

kalau bab homosexual atau pendirian dia jadi gay ni semua..itu sudah terang bacalah Al Quran - semuanya ada di dalam...dan hanya orang yang taat pada Allah SWT akan balik ke pangkal jalan..
And actually..sebagai seorang Muslim juga saya ingatkan bahawa homosexual itu batil dan tiada alasan kukuh untuk meneruskannya dan juga kita tak boleh kutuk dia lebih lebih..instead kita harus berdoa moga dia di beri petunjuk ke jalan yang benar. Amin.

If it is with regards to homosexual or his standing of being gay..that is obviously explained. Go read the Quran - all is in there and only those who are faithful to Allah SWT will return to the right path.
And also..as a Muslim..may i remind you that homosexual is wrong and there is no reason to continue and we should not overly criticize him but we should pray and hopefully he is shown the right way by Him. Amin.

well..saya tak akan berpihak kepada mana mana..kerana the facts speaks for themselves..tapi cuma saya terfikir 2 perkara..if we go and on about him..and his acts..tu macam takde manfaatnya..Cuba anda bayangkan kalau itu adik/anak/abang/cucu/anak saudara anda..apa perasaan anda?
if we talk it out nicely..penuh bersimpati..we can open his heart out and if he finally change for the better..tak pahala yang kita dapat tu? tapi kalau kita caci..kutuk dia..dan dia berterusan macam tu sampai mati..atau kalau dia bunuh diri (God Forbid) kerana tak tahan di caci kerana satu tindakan bodoh yang dia lakukan tak dosa ke kita?

My thoughts are with his parents..how are they coping with this? Hopefully the are fine and probably trying to deal with it at work.
People are very judgemental and when it comes to this social issues, suddenly all sorts of overwhelming supports comes from everywhere..but where is this support when we discuss things like HOTA? or perhaps why is syariah not IMPLEMENTED for Muslims when we have syariah for marriages etc..? Why is there isnt any support for single mothers? Why are civil marriages which is happening not being discussed?
Think about it..this issue is very small. They are still kids - darah muda..i m sure all of you have similar stories before..i m sure all of you have tasted the feeling of whacking someone.
I am not defending Afez..i just feel the approach is wrong..and i am afraid the approach now would not be the same when other issues are raised.
Oh well...the drama continues...
