A very eventful weekend
It was Vesak Day weekend (another long weekend - Friday to Sunday).
Some colleagues took additional day by taking leave / MC on Thursday.
I didnt.
As usual, i was at home. cooked Macaroni Chicken Soup for breakfast, chicken rice for lunch (bought after the Friday prayers) and Canadian - Pizza for lunch :)
Fixed an appointment for Jessy to see the dentist at Q&M as i think his wisdom cranks him up. I have yet to reach that wise age (and i hope) it wont come out at all. I m not sure if i m up to it!
Got an appointment on Saturday at 11.30 am which means i will still be at work.
Yeah i have to go office at like 7-ish...to complete some stuff.
Anyway Friday went by un-eventfully.
Saturday morning, didnt prepare breakfast for Jessy..left home and went to office. Halfway doing work, Jessy called that dentist recommend immediate extraction of both upper and lower wisdom tooth.(OUCH!)
He went ahead to do it and that put me in a fix.
1. i need to send Hamidah's materials for Cik Yok's to design 2 beautiful dresses
2. i need to ensure Jessy has the right food to eat
Hence moment i reach home, i was like in a daze...so i dump the clothes to be washed, left home in a cab to mom's home and place the materials there first
Went to CWP - banquet and get all the soup/porridge that is enough to last him the day.
Take a cab back to clementi and saw Jessy on the sofa in pain. (poor guy)
Prepared to cool the food and at 5 pm, went out after he slept, paid bills, bought mee goreng and a cab back to mom's place to meet Hamidah and Cik Yok.
Everything went fine.
As BOtak Jones is now HALAL, brought the siblings and mom to eat. The brother got issues with the tummy hence he didnt follow along. Total damage about - $60
Guess its ok and told the youngest sister it is sort of a birthday gift for her as well :P
Stay over the night at mom's. didnt talk much..prolly all of us are tired.
Woke up on Sunday morning, eat breakfast and left at 10-ish. Meet Sha Lolarayz at the Bukit Timah salon to get my hair done (See pic as per FB) :)
not too bad..gonna go back for more - foot reflex, colour etc...
Went to JP - banquet get porridge and korean soup for me :)
Jessy text asked where am i..poor guy must be hungry..
he seems better (at least he can talk now) but there were swollen cheek..ahaha he looked funny.
then he complaint hungry again...thnkin of soft foods for him - cook macaroni with cream mushroom..
an hour later..complaint of headache...gave him panadols and fall asleep.
Took the opportunity to fold hte clothes, mop the floor and prepare dinner
Cook simple potato/carrot/chicken soup.
I had mom's sambal goreng for dinner though :)
went to NTUC to stock up since he is well enuff to cook (yes he got MC till 5th June i think) good rightttt!
till then..it's going to be a bz hell of a week for me..pray that i last till next weekend.

MARAHHHHH!
Something happened on Friday that pissed me off. A certain relative of mine had used my name and tell someone that i recommend that person a job that pays HUNDREDS per hour. The relative also confidently tell that someone that I and my sister is working there as well.
That someone got curious and met me as that someone would like to verify the authenticity of the news.
that someone appear shocked and disbelief when i told that relative of mine HAD never contacted me since the last call - borrowing money to buy something.
More tales and storylines surfaced during the meet up.
I guess it is time for that person to take a good hard look at the life that they are leading. Sometimes Allah SWT test us in many ways..and in order for us to submit to HIM, he gave us task which seems impossible for us to do but actually is within our capability.
My advise to this relative of mine - WAKE UP and STOP with the story telling. I hate you now...to the core!
Parcel
I got a parcel today from Malaysia.
It was 2 DVDs - Muallaf & Talentime.
From someone.
I would like to pay back the cost of these DVDs including the postage. However that someone is not picking up the phone, never reply the sms and as a last resort, i emailed him. I wanted to know his bank account number and which bank.
As of now, there is no reply yet.
I hope he can let me know so that i can pay him back. Otherwise, i dont want to be accused of not paying for something that i had asked during the good times.

Update on a Monday Morning! :)
Good Morning World!

First & Foremost let me share with you where i am typing this from..
on my bed..and its 8.30 in the morning! i aint going to work! i m trying to recover from yesterday's bout of headache which had caused me a fever as well..but i m trying to recover. Pray for my well being.
It was funny. I had a headache right before i left the house till i came back.
Needless to say, even though i was smiling but i was in pain.
First stop after I left home, went to Vivo City.
Went around the mall - check out make up brushes @ the following:
1. Sasa (for training only)
2. Bobbi Brown (too bad they didnt display the price tag)
3. The Make Up Store
4. Inuovi
I missed out on E.L.F & Kent Brushes @ Watsons flagship store.
I had an interesting lunch...i saw a lot of malay workers @ this restaurant which i forgot the name...i wanted to ask but when i saw a minah tudung went in..i went in too and didnt think much. It started with the letter B and it has the same setting as Nandos.
But i went vegetarian @ that place..i didnt consume any of the meat - no doubt there were no pork in the menu.
The workers were mostly malay muslim and there were malay muslims in the restaurant. *puzzled*
Watch Shrek and it was pretty interesting. Somehow i think there will be a few more shows on Shrek coming up - who knows?
from there, took a train thru NEL to Dhoby Ghaut and went on to change to Circle Line - and alight @ Promenade - why ?
It's because ever since i was a member of Singapore Flyer which entitles me to a ride on it everyday (for 1 trip) i have yet to use that membership :)
Which means, i went to Kenko for my foot massage :) love it...and the fish missed my legs too ...they nibbled like they never did before :)
Dinner @ Popeyes before i head home.
A slight encounter though. There was a caucasian family waiting for a cab behind me. I think he got restless and decide to walk out from the taxi stand TO the main road and started to hail a cab from out there. He manage to get a MERC SH848K and went in..drive to the taxi stand and pick up the wife and kids.
It is nothing about what the caucasian did BUT what is WRONG with the cab driver - hellooooo you are like less than 1 minute when you stopped and the taxi stand was RIGHT in front of you? I thought priority is given to those who Q-up?
After that, i decide enough is enough, call for a cab - alhamdulillah it arrived less than 3 minutes after the call.
Reached home - i showered..took all the medicines that i can find - Flu, antibiotics and panadol..felt better :)
log on FB...and then bed :)
so...any plans for me today? no idea yet...anyone?

I love her precise/clear instructions - she dont speak..she demonstrate and add in little comments..so it was really helpful!

The Search begins!
Rather than thinking of what has happen and why it happen or whatever is happening...i have decided yesterday to focus my energies on something that i have loved all my life - fashion and beauty..
As you all know i am the appointed Mak Nyah..Opsss wrong description - Mak Andam ...in my case you cant call me Mak Andam sound so old or something..
It is MUA. Make Up Artist for you know whose wedding :)
so hence my search for my basic stuff...
Make up i m going to take my time looking for it however..... i am now searching for brushes...
searching on the net turn up great website...
however, not sure if they are good...
Chats with colleagues all indicated Bobbi Brown is the best..but 1 Bobbi brown brush can cost as much as SGD 50! haha...i have to be a rather establish MUA to have that :) insya Allah one day.

Ulasan - Kekecohan Si Afez
I think by now every single one of you are aware of the fact that Afez from Voguelicious was seen thru a video in FB that he whacked a malay girl. Not enough with whacking all sorts of profanities and colourful vocabs was heard.
Nabi Muhammad S.A.W pernah bersabda - La tadhribu imaallah - maknanya Jangan kalian pukul kaum perempuan!
Many of us condemn the act. The very fact that a man (regardless what kind of a man he is) had hit a woman. In this case a teenage boy hit a teenage girl.
A facebook page - dedicated solely to Afez has been created to condemn him - Condemn Afez Anuar.
Fauzi Rassull has to create an entry in his blog not to associate Afez's action with Voguelicious.
However, i would like to bring all of you to a different perspective.
I am not siding with anyone. However much i have learn from the facebook page - everyone condemns him.
What i am interested in is these details:
1. Who is the one recording?
2. Why didnt she helped?
3. When the lift door open, WHY did the group of boys outside didnt stop him? (It is obvious they are there as they know what's happening)
4. Who uploaded the recording?
5. Why was it uploaded?
This remains unanswered till today.
It is true Afez hit the girl but those who were with him at the same time, recording, agreeing with him should also be punished. Why? Because they didnt try to talk to him out of it - that's why.
The one who records should also be punished - why? Where is your human decency? have you lost your mind? Where is your iman?
Humans as we are, we only how to talk. How many of you dare to whack him back in public? I am sure many would volunteer. Tell me, can you confidently tell me how many of you would actually talk to him..tell him that he should not have done this..hug him.. tell him to change.. and tell him Allah SWT love us all and He wants him to change..Tell me how many of you would do that? I bet the answer is none!

And actually..sebagai seorang Muslim juga saya ingatkan bahawa homosexual itu batil dan tiada alasan kukuh untuk meneruskannya dan juga kita tak boleh kutuk dia lebih lebih..instead kita harus berdoa moga dia di beri petunjuk ke jalan yang benar. Amin.

If it is with regards to homosexual or his standing of being gay..that is obviously explained. Go read the Quran - all is in there and only those who are faithful to Allah SWT will return to the right path.
And also..as a Muslim..may i remind you that homosexual is wrong and there is no reason to continue and we should not overly criticize him but we should pray and hopefully he is shown the right way by Him. Amin.

Losing love..
Love comes to us in different forms. They keep us occupied, safe and feeling good everyday.
When one lose love, it can be quite devastating...
There are many reasons why we lost love...we lost love due to long distance, we can lose love because we lack communication, we lost love because perhaps...it has found another companion..
You never know...and the signs are obvious...
whatever it is...dont cry because of love...for someone who hurt you now..will be hurt even deeper by someone else that he chose to love...& leave the one who has loved him more than ever...
